CBA

Aluminum solutions that transform people’s lives

Welcome to CBA

For more than six decades, we have produced aluminum with a commitment to building a better world.

Our operations, in seven Brazilian states, support 5,549 direct jobs. We produce low-carbon aluminum that is used in a diverse range of industries.

Our operations span the entire aluminum value chain: from the mines where bauxite is extracted, through the refineries where bauxite is processed into aluminum oxide and smelters where molten aluminum is produced, to facilities where the aluminum is made into a range of primary products (ingots, slabs, billets and rod) and semi-fabricated products (caster rolls, sheet, foil, extruded profiles, and parts and components). In a model based on ethics and respect for the environment, we also work with strategic customers to co-develop customized and increasingly sustainable solutions.

Inspired by our purpose to deliver aluminum solutions that transform people’s lives, we have placed sustainability and innovation at the core of our business strategy.

We are #DigitALL

We are guided by a strong digital culture to drive competitive advantage in everything we do. Our CBA 4.0 journey to optimize processes and operations, and develop new mindsets, is underpinned by four pillars

People

Instilling new behaviors as part of a more agile mindset, fostering a digital culture and encouraging employees to think, act and do things differently.

Processes

Driving changes and redefining what we offer, how we offer it and how we operate to achieve competitive advantage, and maximizing results by simplifying, eliminating and reinventing existing processes.

Technology

Implementing enabling technologies, such as mobility, cognition and the Internet of Things, to drive business growth.

Cybersecurity

Minimizing corporate risks stemming from new technologies, and protecting data, information and people.

Read our innovation manifesto and how we put these principles into practice:

Innovation at CBA

CBA is constantly evolving in response to the changing needs of our partners, the industry, society and our planet, as part of our aspiration to build a more harmonious future for all. We are present in people’s day-to-day lives, more than they imagine.

New Code of Conduct

The CBA Code of Conduct guides our actions and interactions with employees, suppliers, customers, communities and other stakeholders. A core component of our Compliance Program, the Code was completely reformulated in 2021—CBA previously followed the Votorantim S.A code of conduct as one of its portfolio companies.

All employees, contractors and suppliers are required to affirm compliance with the Code after taking game-based online training on our E-learning platform.

The CBA Code of Conduct is available for reference here
